Welcome back to Jonathan's web site. I have reduced the size of this site from 45Mb+ to below 3Mb as a consequence the content is much reduced, but mainly at the expense of non-html versions of documents. In future I intend only to put up html and pdf files on this site.

Inns of Hârn: This is a joint project with John Sgammato where we are trying to build up a 'database' or inns for every one to use. We have listed all the known inns and tavern published by CGI. We inviting people to submit inns to the site, either detailing an existing one or creating a totally new inn. This area will contain material written by many people.

It is intended that I will be the detailing a number of Hârnic locations which will be given here under the general title of "Manors of Hârn". Kynadin Manor has been removed for maintenance, but here are a couple of poetic maps of Chybisa instead.

The Thardic Republican Army: This is a long article which gives my views on the republic's army. Though written by me it is hosted on Rebecca Downey's site. Most of the material is CGI-complient. There are four main parts and some subsidiary documents:

Part 1: Overview and Structure   Introduction, Composition, Service Conditions, Red Guard, The Provincial Legions.
Part 2: Equipment Equipment, arms and armour, used be each rank with the Legions
Part 3: Cohorts in Peacetime Fortifications, Supply and manufacture, Troop rotation, Garrison troops & patrols, Law & order, and Recreation
Part 4: Legions at War The Army muster, Marching order, Combat Formations, and Combat Tactics.

If you have been reading my posts to Harn-L and are hoping for a thoroughly Romanised Thardic Legion you are in for a big disappointment. Very little of this article has anything to do with the actual Roman legions of any period, but I hope that some of the flavour of the milieu has carried forward. Nor is this article an attempt to write up the legions as an early medieval feudal army with a few strange names. What I hope to achieve is something that is unique, combining bits from various cultures and time periods (but leaning towards ancient and dark age practices), but for the whole to be in keeping with Harn.

THESE PAGES HAVE BEEN TEMPORAILY DELETED

Eshaven: is a city set in Shorkyne in my own campaign. This city has been the 'home' of the games I run for about a decade. I am re-writing (and changing a lot of it as I go) into html for my own use. Some of the material may be of use in other campaigns, so I am presenting extracts here in the hope that they may be of use. More material will be added if there is a demand

Other Hârn WWW pages: Links to other www sites, including the publishers, the official site, and to members of the Harn-L mailing list.

PriceLst: My price list system along with a jewellery and gemstone systems was originally written for use in a 120 strong FRPG club about 15 years ago (and is still in use by GM, though the club has now closed). Hence, it is one of the few things I have which has been properly play tested.

I have written two short documents, one consists of three basic data tables and examples of how they can be used, the other a few odd notes on medieval mining which may be of interest.
